ABNA24 - More than 370,000 children have been forced from their homes in Lebanon amid Israel's offensive against the country, UNICEF's representative in Lebanon, Marcoluigi Corsi, said on Friday.
He warned of the painful toll Israel’s air strikes and ground invasion in Lebanon are having on children.
Corsi said Israel’s intensified attacks on the country this month have killed at least 121 children and injured 399 others.
More than 370,000 children have also been forced from their homes, said Corsi, as Israel issues displacement threats covering some 14 percent of Lebanon’s territory.
At least 1,116 people have been killed and 3,229 injured in Israeli attacks on Lebanon between March 2 and March 20, the Lebanese Health Ministry said on Thursday.
Israeli warplanes and artillery also targeted multiple towns and villages across Southern Lebanon.
